sound recording.
Though this unit was very practical, there was only one assignment with the end goal of having an audio file. The course is about recording the sounds, not particularly mixing them, so it makes sense. I helped with other people's recordings throughout the semester, but the recording I was directly involved with was The Noises, a faux-band with Toby Blackman and Michael Bourguignon. We three went into CMS1 with a plan: play the blues, then get weird. Talk about "blue bones", which is (for all we know) a fake disease. Recording went smoothly, which is weird, and the end product is something I am particularly proud of. Thanks Toby and Michael again for the great experience, and Lee Buddle for the fun course.
